WIX® Filters Wins Supplier Of The Year Award From Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance

Company honored to receive three customer service awards from the Alliance

WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, received the Supplier of the Year Award from Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance during the Alliance’s annual banquet in Boca Raton, Fla., on Dec. 7, and was honored with two additional awards for high fill rates during the ceremony.

The 2010 Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Supplier of the Year Award recognizes WIX Filters as the overall outstanding major vendor and as a valued and appreciated partner in the success of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world.

“This award is verification of the strength of our people at WIX and their ability to consistently provide the best filtration products on the market, industry leading fill rates, innovative marketing, and world-class customer and sales support,” said Bill Sheehan, vice president of sales at WIX Filters, who accepted the award on behalf of WIX along with Terry McCormack, CEO and president of Affinia Group, and Keith Wilson, president of Affinia Global Filtration Group.

WIX was also honored by the Alliance with two additional awards: Outstanding Shipping Fill Rate Performance in Excess of 95%– WIX Filters and Outstanding Shipping Fill Rate Performance in Excess of 95% – Parts Master Filters made by WIX.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Awards, voted on by shareholders of the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper brands, honor excellence in sales support, fill rate, marketing and customer service.
