WIX® Filters Recognized For The Best Outdoor Booth At The 2011 Goodguys Nationals In Columbus, Ohio

Goodguys Rod and Custom Association presented WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, with an award for the best outdoor booth at the 14th Goodguys Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.

The largest event of the year on the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association calendar, nearly 8,000 show cars and more than 400 outdoor vendors and exhibitors descended upon the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair Grounds from July 8-10. During the event, hot rod and custom car industry representatives and editors selected WIX Filters as the winner of the best outdoor booth.

The WIX Filters booth features unique attractions for visitors of all ages, including a custom-built 2010 Dodge Challenger that was created for WIX Filters by Petty’s Garage, a pit box containing several cutaway filters that demonstrate WIX’s technological superiority, banners that highlight the features and benefits of select filtration products and a radio control car raceway complete with a timing tree and sensors.

This year is WIX Filters’ inaugural campaign as the Official Filter of the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association. WIX Filters is attending eleven events during the Goodguys 2011 season and is the title sponsor of the WIX Filters Speedway Nationals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 16-18.
